Anyone succeeed choosing the sex of their baby?

I would really like to have a baby girl, I will love a son as much as a girl but I just have a yearning for a daughter. My husband and I have looked at various systems to choose the gender of our baby, we both worry that we will buy into these systems and then get nothing in return.

I know that whether you have a baby girl or a baby boy is a 50/50 chance so any of these methods have a 50/50 chance of working, which is better odds than you get in Vegas.

Have you or anyone you know had any sucess with choosing the sex of your baby? Maybe you tried a special diet or a ovulation prediction kit, any tips or tricks on gender selction greatly appreciated.
