How accurate are ultrasounds in determining baby's gender?

I am having my first ultrasound next month at around 16ish weeks (they’re also figuring out dates at this ultrasound since we have no clue when this baby was conceived) and we have asked to find out if it’s a boy or a girl. Is a regular ultrasound (as opposed to the new 3-D ones) fairly accurate at seeing what the gender is?
